This policy explains which personal data we process when you use this website, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short: no advertising, no tracking cookies, no selling of data.

Hosting

This website is run for us by our web service provider HÖÖM (Christopher Helminger, Salzburg, Austria) under a data processing agreement, on a server rented from Contabo GmbH, Aschauer Straße 32a, 81549 Munich, Germany, in a data centre in France (EU). To deliver a page, the server has to process your IP address and the requested address. The web server keeps no access logs, so this data is not stored (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

The contact form and newsletter sign-up are processed on the same server by an automation tool (n8n) that HÖÖM runs for us. No advertising, no tracking cookies.

Visitor statistics

We count page views with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses or any other data that identifies you. We only see aggregated numbers such as visited pages, referring websites, country, browser and device type. Umami is run for us by our web service provider HÖÖM (Christopher Helminger, Salzburg) under a data processing agreement, on the same server as this website (Contabo, data centre in France, EU). Legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Storage in your browser

To play the logo intro only once per visit, the website stores a single technical marker (ym-intro) in your browser's session storage. It contains no personal data, is never sent to us or anyone else and is deleted when you close the browser tab. No cookies are used.

Links to other websites

Artist pages link to external sites such as Instagram, Facebook, Spotify, Bandcamp or the artists' own websites. No data is passed on until you click such a link. Once you follow it, the privacy policy of that site applies.

Fonts

All fonts are served from our own server. No requests go to Google Fonts.

Videos and music players

Artist pages show YouTube videos and Spotify players. They load only after you click play. Before that, the page shows a preview image from our own server and no data goes to Google or Spotify.

When you click, your browser connects to the provider and transmits at least your IP address, browser and device information and the page you came from. The provider may set cookies and use the data for its own purposes. By clicking you consent to this (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). Without a click, nothing loads.

Contact form and email

If you use the contact form or write to us, we use your details (name, email address, event, date, artist and message) only to answer your request and, if it leads to a booking, to prepare it (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The form sends your details as an email to booking@yaman.agency. The email is sent through the mail server of our web service provider HÖÖM at World4You Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstraße 47-51, 4020 Linz, Austria. The server does not keep a copy of your request once the email is delivered. If delivery fails, the request is kept on the server for at most 14 days so it can be delivered by hand. Our mailboxes are hosted by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) under a data processing agreement. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We keep your request as long as needed to handle it and as required by retention obligations under tax and commercial law, then we delete it.

To protect the forms from abuse, the server keeps a pseudonymised (hashed) form of your IP address with the time of the request for 10 minutes and uses it only to limit how many requests can be sent within that time (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Newsletter

If you sign up for our newsletter, we send you event and line-up announcements, releases by our artists and booking opportunities a few times a year. You only need to give your email address. We store it together with the time of sign-up as proof of your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR) on the server described under Hosting (Contabo, data centre in France, EU), run for us by HÖÖM. If you signed up for our newsletter on our previous website, we have moved your address to this system for the same purpose.

We send the newsletter with a mailing tool run for us by our web service provider HÖÖM (Christopher Helminger, Salzburg) under a data processing agreement. Your address is used for the newsletter only and never passed on to anyone else.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by writing to booking@yaman.agency. We then delete your address.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. Where we rely on our legitimate interest, you can object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. Just write to booking@yaman.agency.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Austria, www.dsb.gv.at.

You are not obliged to provide personal data. Without it we simply cannot answer a request or send you the newsletter. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
