The North East Ska Jazz Orchestra (NESJO) is a 16-piece powerhouse blending the energy of ska with the sophistication of jazz. Formed in 2012 in North-Eastern Italy, the band brings together top musicians from the region’s vibrant Jamaican and Afro-American music scene.
 

With four acclaimed releases — including Sulla Rotta dei Venti (2024) and the viral hit Mama (over 22 million views) — NESJO has built a solid reputation across Europe, performing in Italy, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Slovenia, and Croatia.
 

Their explosive live shows have graced major festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash, Iboga Summer Festival, and Freedom Sounds Ska Festival.
 

Selected for Jazz IT Abroad 2024 by MAECI and SIAE, NESJO proudly represents Italian creativity on international stages with an unforgettable mix of groove, soul, and big-band energy.
