FURORI(IT)

FURORI is a constantly evolving sonic organism shaped in real time. Piano, synthesis, electronics, bass and drums interact as a single system in which acoustic material is continuously transformed through improvisation, rhythm and electronic processing.

Developed during an artistic residency at CNCM VOCE in Pigna, Corsica, the project moves beyond a fixed distinction between acoustic and electronic music: each performance develops differently through interaction, transformation and response.

FURORI are Fabio Giachino (piano, synthesizer, live electronics), Davide Liberti (double bass, FX) and Ruben Bellavia (drums, MPC Live). Fabio Giachino, pianist of TUN, has performed across Europe, the United States, Japan, India, Mexico, the Middle East and Africa, with collaborations including Dave Liebman, Randy Brecker, Gianluca Petrella, Flavio Boltro, Chad Lefkowitz-Brown and Dub FX.
